Returns & Refunds
At Skin Science, your satisfaction is our priority. We offer two types of refund pathways depending on your reason for return:
1. Standard Returns – Within 14 Days of Delivery
If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return for a refund within 14 days of receiving your order.
To be eligible:
- The product must have been purchased directly from byskinscience.com.
- The returned item must have at least 50% or more of the product remaining in the bottle or jar.
- Products that are nearly empty, or appear tampered with (e.g. refilled, diluted, or mixed with other substances), will not qualify for a refund.
- Any complimentary gifts received with purchase must be returned to receive a full refund.
- You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrect.
To initiate a return, please contact us at support@byskinscience.com with your order number and reason for return. We will provide return instructions upon approval.
2. The Skin Science 60-Day Results Guarantee
We believe in real results. If you've used our product consistently and don't see visible results after 60 days, you can request a full refund—even if the bottle is empty.
Eligibility requirements:
- Applies to products purchased directly from byskinscience.com.
- Only valid for first-time purchases of a specific product (limit: one unit per product per customer).
- You must use the product consistently for at least 60 days.
- You may request a refund under the 60-Day Results Guarantee starting on Day 60 after delivery. A 7-day grace period applies, so all requests must be submitted no later than Day 67. Requests outside this window will not be accepted.
- We may ask for a photo of the used product as proof of use. Return is typically not required, but we reserve the right to request the product back.
To claim your Results Guarantee refund, contact our support team at support@byskinscience.com and include your order number and a brief note about your experience.
Additional Notes
- Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 14 business days of approval. Please allow additional time for your bank or card provider to complete the transaction.
- If your refund involves a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and include clear photos of the item and packaging. In these cases, shipping fees will also be refunded or a replacement will be sent at no charge.
- Orders with free shipping will be refunded minus the original shipping costs, unless the product was defective or incorrect.
- If your order included a promotional gift, the value of that gift will be deducted from your refund if not returned.
Refund Abuse Policy
We monitor refund activity for abuse and reserve the right to:
- Decline refunds on multiple units of the same product purchased in a single order.
- Reject refund requests we believe are fraudulent or excessive.
- Limit refunds or purchases for customers with repeated refund histories.
